January monthly meeting
Dave showed his slides of this amazing trip which took roughly 10 days and required that the foursome fly in by float plane. Using primarily topo maps and a brief description from "Canoe Trips in British Columbia," the canoeists camped in wilderness areas along the river and were thankful for occasional signs which advised them when to portage.

What's Happening In Our Mountain Parks?
Join us for a presentation with Dave Poulton,
Executive Director of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, to learn more
about how nature functions in the mountains, how our use and enjoyment of the parks affects nature, and some of the steps which have to be taken to
protect our parks for the future.

Harvey presented a slideshow of CORE activities over the past year.
There was a Question and Answer period after the slideshow, followed by the
AGM. After the AGM there were refreshments and a

specializes in wilderness navigation
training, survival, and backpacking skills using advanced
learning technology.
